Problem is that the market just isn't predictable at the fine scale except for pure technical moves. But pure technical moves on the fine scale are very weak and easily overpowered by a big news day. A market move can completely destroy your trading plan.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I have never day-traded except for option expirations, and even those are tricky. I do like watching intraday charts though. Really gives a sense of the day-to-day mechanics taking shape from little tiny movements accumulating through individual orders slapping each other around.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5675747790038131091/4777642035605614444/comments/default/6970247233043721503'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5675747790038131091/4777642035605614444/comments/default/6970247233043721503'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.fullystocked.info/2009/03/dark-side-of-day-trading-stocks.html?showComment=1238635980000#c6970247233043721503' title=''/><author><name>knappador</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/05927113041293780699</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.fullystocked.info/2009/03/dark-side-of-day-trading-stocks.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5675747790038131091.post-4777642035605614444' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5675747790038131091/posts/default/4777642035605614444' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
