Yeah, I know I'm certainly doing better at the moment. Still kinda wonder how far off job growth is.

I'm not looking to start up a recommendation blog, but hold onto this chart:

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the strong divergence in the accumulation/distribution backs up my story, that AMD's in a dead cat bounce that got some extra steam from a news event, but the buying has no traction. Time will tell.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts...I agree, things aren't really as bad as we thought they would be. We don't see lines of people at the banks wanting to pull out their money. Job loss has been a hot topic. We don't even hear about the people who are thriving - and there are people out there who are doing well despite all the losses.

Dow 9k followed by a retest to establish the long-term bottom of this massive correction from 14k to 6.6k. Things aren't really cascading like a doomsday scenario might have been, but they aren't really improving either. We're still talking about the rate of job loss slowing down. I think we'll see a confirmation of the bottom this summer as the market acknowledges that things really have gotten as bad as we were afraid they would at 6600.
